"Paul's first prayer as a Christian was: 'Lord, what do you want me to do?' (Acts 9:6, c.f. 22:10). This should be our daily prayer. We ought to see every day and hour as an opportunity to serve Him, and ought to seek to do everything to the glory of God (1 Cor 10:31)."Stuart Olyott

What do You want me to do?

Obedience
"If we are simply content to understand what [Paul] has said, but not to live by it, we are in a deeply disturbing spiritual condition. Obedience to the precepts of scripture can only herald the dawn of blessing. Disobedience or neglect will mean impoverishment. They will reveal that the very mercies of God that should spur me to action mean nothing to me at all. This will be the plainest possible indication that I am an ungrateful and unthankful person."

More blessed to give
"Instead of indulging ourselves with what we have earned, we should be generous in giving it away, even if it appears for the moment that such generosity is entirely wasted. It is not. Our gifts will eventually come back to us, and we shall at last profit by our action"

Be Careful
"Those who boast about their purity of doctrine must be careful to see that it is accompanied by holy living. Do you think that your understanding of God's Word is better than that of many others? Do you live by that Word? Does your conduct match your orthodoxy? Unbelievers draw conclusions about the character of God from the way that you live."
